Accepting Late Enrollment - email meralee@artsofgreatfalls.org! Oil painting fundamentals for all levels with Joyce Lee! Whether you are new to oil painting or want a greater depth of knowledge in the basic principles of oil painting, this is the class for you! Over 6 weeks, the class will focus on oil-painting fundamentals, such as Light and Form, Value and Color Relationship, Design and Composition, and Edges. Students will have the opportunity to apply each element introduced in a fun way. Through instructor demonstrations, discussions, and handouts, the essential elements of constructing a painting will be introduced through different subjects in each class: Class 1-2: Simple Still Life Class 3-4: Simple Seascape Class 5-6: Simple Landscape Instructor will provide beautiful photos captured throughout the year that students can use as inspiration. If class is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, make up class will be October 23.
