A few spots left in our Fall session! Grab them fast! ATTENTION OIL PAINTERS – What’s all the buzz about cold wax? Do you like gelato? Imagine painting with it, but it doesn’t melt. Learn how to incorporate cold wax into your oil paintings. From applying a little as a finishing touch of texture to going all the way into the world of cold wax, Leanne will demonstrate the technique she uses in her own art. Instruction includes the basics of working with the medium using brush and palette knife. Get ready to have fun while learning a new technique! Leanne’s teaching style is nurturing and supportive. She believes that creative energy is intoxicating and oil painting is a gift to be treasured every day. The workshop is appropriate for all levels and all styles of oil painting. SUPPLIES LIST: It is recommended that students bring canvas or linen panels that have a good base of dry oil paint, such as a practice work or oil sketch. Stretched canvas is not recommended. 1-3 previously painted panels of small to medium size Gamblin Cold Wax Medium Bristle Brush – Flats (the ones with the long bristles) Palette Knife of Choice (flat edge recommended)
