Continued Exploration with Pastels

Description

This fun, interactive class will be in-person this winter. Each week we will explore different soft pastel techniques, materials, and/or subject matter. Lori will demonstrate each week. After the demonstration, students may choose to focus on that lesson or work on a subject or technique of their choice. Students are encouraged to provide their own photographic references for the given lesson, unless the subject is still life. For still life lessons, Lori will provide set-ups for the class. Classroom critique and artistic exploration are encouraged. Some basic pastel experience is required as introductory materials and techniques won’t be covered.
