From May 16 to 23, 40 artists painted outdoors throughout Great Falls. There were many ways to get involved from watching artists paint "en plein air" (outside) to attending the Award Show + Art Show & Sale on the final day.
Registration for the 12th Annual 2026 Paint Great Falls event opens on Friday, January 9th and the event runs from Saturday May 16th - Saturday May 23rd.

Watch artists quickly capture a scene on a small canvas at the Great Falls Village Centre Green. Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd Place by Judge Tricia Ratliff. Free-event open to the public and all artwork will be available for purchase.

This annual celebration is always a hit! Browse 80 paintings featuring Great Falls landscapes and iconic landmarks. All paintings created en plein air (outside) by 40 artists competing in Paint Great Falls.
Judge, Bethanne Kinsella Cople, will award prizes to the top paintings including:
