ABOUT PAINT GREAT FALLSÂ
Paint Great Falls is an annual "en plein air" (outside) artist competition. Artists will paint outdoors without the assistance of photography throughout Great Falls from May 18-25. Each year, this non-juried event is open to artists of all skill levels. The community is invited to watch artists paint throughout the week. Artist registration for this event is full. ART COLLECTORS & ART ENTHUSIASTS
FRIDAY MAY 24 from 4:00-7:30PM
Join us on the Great Falls Village Centre Green to watch artists quickly capture beautiful scenes on small canvases as the sun begins to set. Everyone is welcome to watch artists paint and prizes will be awarded at 6:00pm.
SATURDAY MAY 25 from 6:00-7:30PM
You are invited to attend the Paint Great Falls Art Show & Sale on Saturday May 25 from 6:00-7:30PM at 756 Walker Road, Suite C, Great Falls, VA 22066. Browse the exhibit featuring over 70 gorgeous landscape paintings capturing the spring colors throughout bucolic Great Falls, Virginia. All paintings available for sale.
ARTISTS
Although registration is closed for the main Paint Great Falls competition, we encourage artists to register for the Quick Paint on Friday, May 24 from 4:00pm-7:30pm at the Great Falls Village Centre Green.
QUICK PAINT - FRIDAY MAY 24 from 4:00-7:30pmÂ
A Quick Paint competition on Fri May 24 from 4:00-7:30pm is a separate event open to all artists and registration in Paint Great Falls is not required. Â Prizes will be separately awarded for Quick Paint artwork, however these paintings are not eligible for the Paint Great Falls exhibit. Â Artists may register in advance here.
