A Painter's Coffee & Cups with Dipali

Come learn the basics of still life in oil in this 3-hour workshop with Dipali Rabadiya! If you are new to painting, still life is the way to go. In this workshop we will be focusing on small still life fundamentals with the interesting subjects of coffee pots and cups. We will work on color mixing with a limited palette to bring out the harmony in your painting. One brushstroke at a time, paint loose with confidence with “Alla prima technique”. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Dipali was born and raised in Gujarat, India and now lives at Broadlands, VA with her husband and two sons. Her interest in art was developed when she was very young. She has always enjoyed painting and drawing ever since she was a child and never stopped thinking about it. She took various painting and Drawing classes at a very young age. She received her degree in Masters of Business Administration and graduated in 2002 from India. She moved to America in December of 2002, and worked for a few years in logistics companies in the USA. Her interest in being an artist has never stopped, so she began to pursue her Degree in BFA at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. She has won a Genesis award at Newport News, VA.
