INSTRUCTOR BIO: Michela Mansuino teaches youth and adult classes at The Arts of Great Falls, as well as teaching at Studio Incamminati's Human Realist Program in Philadelphia, where she studied. Michela has won numerous awards, including two honorable mentions from the Portrait Society of America, first prize in the Strictly Painting Competition, and was a finalist in the ARC International Salon. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: Students follow a structured program beginning with gesture drawing through short poses, learning to capture the full figure with dynamic movement using loose, broad strokes. Progress to intermediate poses as you build on gesture and construct figurative structure, developing both mass drawing and gestural drawing techniques. CLASS DATES: 1/16, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6.
