Master the art of watercolor efficiency with award-winning artist Rajendra KC. Working with a limited palette, learn to plan your strokes and values strategically—achieving crisp, clear color and atmospheric effects without overworking your paintings. Discover how the economical use of brush and line creates maximum impact. INSTRUCTOR BIO: Rajendra KC is an award-winning plein air watercolor artist whose paintings capture light, atmosphere, and a deep love of nature. Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and now based in Falls Church, Virginia, Rajendra brings his international experience and passion for painting to his students at The Arts of Great Falls. His work has earned numerous awards and is featured in private collections across the U.S. and around the world. SESSION 1 CLASS DATES: Fridays, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20. Make-up date if needed on 2/27. SUPPLY LIST: 1. Watercolor paper (Arches, cold press, 140 lb) 2. Watercolors (any quality brand, e.g., Winsor & Newton) 3. Water brushes (Princeton Round No. 12 and 16) 4. Watercolor palette 5. Water cup 6. Drawing pencils and eraser 7. Hardboard
