ABOUT THE CLASS: Step into the magic of Bob Ross's legendary wet-on-wet technique in a fun, stress-free environment designed to build creative confidence in young artists. Perfect for kids who feel intimidated by oil paints or think they "can't draw," this six-session course turns doubts into stunning canvas masterpieces that will amaze family and friends. Under expert step-by-step guidance, students will master specialized brush techniques to create iconic "happy little trees," fluffy atmospheric clouds, dramatic mountain ranges, and glowing sunset reflections. Beyond learning essential painting fundamentals—like blending values directly on canvas, using limited color palettes, and creating natural light—young painters gain practical problem-solving skills and the joyful realization that there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. Art supplies included in tuition. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Araksi Martirosian-Janssen is a dedicated artist and Certified Ross Instructor (CRI) who trained at the Bob Ross Art Workshop in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. For nearly a decade, she has shared the joy of painting across community art centers, private resorts, and her personal studio, empowering students of all experience levels to embrace their creative potential. In addition to her mastery of Bob Ross's wet-on-wet technique, Araksi studied classical oil painting under Herdin Radtke, founder of the Pomponism movement. Her encouraging, step-by-step approach ensures every student leaves class with beautiful artworks and renewed confidence in their artistic abilities.
