Join local artist and host of the Creative Contemplation Podcast, Suzanne Lago Arthur this Spring for an enjoyable and informative class on how to produce beautiful portraits in a medium long prized by painters for its similarity to paint handling, the humble and yet powerful charcoal stick. In this class students will work from both their own photo reference and a model. Topics covered will include: drawing principles, handling of materials and the differences between working from life and photo reference. All levels welcome!
