Drawing Botanicals with Mariah Sotelino

Description

Would you like to improve your drawing abilities? Do your have a hard time with perspective and proportion? Do you love gazing at flowers for hours? If you do, then this class is for you! We will work in graphite, charcoal, carbon dust, and colored pencils to build beautiful drawings of single flowers. We will learn to plan ahead and use revision techniques to acheive accurate lines and render value mindfully. This class will be very meditative. We will use both photo reference and still life references in the class to build your perception and observation muscles. Class Series Dates: 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, and 10/23.
