Come learn the Studio Incamminati method of Drawing and Painting with Annalisa Shanks! Level I: Ages 13-18 years old. Come learn the Studio Incamminati method of Drawing and Painting with Annalisa Shanks! Level II: Ages 13-18 years old. Students will learn classical drawing and painting techniques through a seashell still life project. Beginning with charcoal, they'll master fundamental approaches including working from broad masses to detail, separating light and shadow, and using the value scale for dimension. On Day 3, students transition to oil painting, applying these principles to create organized underpaintings on canvas. The week concludes with students completing a fully developed seashell still life painting. Instructor Annalisa Shanks is the daughter of Nelson and Leona Shanks, founders of Studio Incamminati, a classical realism art school in Philadelphia, PA.
