Thursday, December 4th 4:30 pm – 7 pm Family Friendly Workshop! Bond over creativity this holiday season! This beginner-friendly 2-hour workshop teaches the basics of needle felting while you create charming Christmas ornaments together. No experience needed—bring your holiday spirit and leave with handmade treasures and new skills. One registration admits one adult caretaker + one child (ages 8-18). All supplies included for two ornaments. This beginner-friendly session is perfect for individuals of all skill levels, offering a fun, creative way to get into the holiday spirit. Participants will leave with their own handmade felt ornament, a basic understanding of needle felting techniques, and the skills to continue felting on their own. Workshop Goals: Introduce participants to the fundamentals of needle felting Guide them step-by-step to create festive holiday ornaments Foster a cozy, creative atmosphere that encourages personal expression and relaxation Provide all materials so attendees can focus on crafting and enjoyment This workshop is a delightful opportunity to create lasting holiday memories and learn a new skill. Participants will walk away with handmade ornaments they’ll be proud to hang on their tree — or gift to someone special. Let us bring warmth, wool, and a little holiday magic to your next event. Materials Provided: Felting needles, wool roving in various colors, felting sponge pads, ornament hangers and embellishments (string, beads, glitter, etc.). Instructor Bio: Kate Flannery is a self-taught fiber artist who has been exploring the art of needle felting since 2020. Specializing in whimsical creations, she brings to life a wide range of subjects including animals, fairies, plants, and even textured 2D felted paintings. With a passion for creativity and a warm, approachable teaching style, Kate loves helping others discover the joy and meditative nature of needle felting, no matter their experience level.
