Description

ABOUT THE CLASS: Explore the vibrant world of painting complex surfaces with Dipali at Arts of Great Falls! In this immersive class, you will learn to tackle two of the most challenging subjects in fine art—glass and metal—by focusing on reflection, light, and impressionistic techniques. Rather than getting bogged down in tedious detail, you will discover how to use bold brushwork and dynamic values to capture the captivating illusion of shine, transparency, and distortion. Through hands-on practice, you will learn to translate hard metallic sheens, crystal reflections, and fluid highlights into luminous, painterly compositions that create convincing three-dimensional depth. Join us to unlock your creativity, connect with fellow artists, and bring your visions to life in a supportive environment dedicated to nurturing talent in the fine arts. Sign up today and illuminate your artistic journey! CLASS DATES: Mondays | 1:00 - 3:30 PM | 1/25, 2/8, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15 *Class cancellation due to teacher illness or inclement weather will be rescheduled for Mar 29th.
