The Painting I Color Study program is designed to introduce students to the Studio Incamminati 23 color palette and explore the world of colors through a series of engaging painting exercises. Students will learn how to utilize colored light and work with bright, simple objects to create stunning artworks. Through the exploration of intense light and its effects on the local color of still life objects, students will develop a deep understanding of how different light arrangements can fundamentally change the color relationships of objects in their artwork. With a focus on value versus color saturation, students will complete one canvas per day, allowing for a dialogue centered on artistic expression and technique. using painting knives and brushes, students will practice paint handling in preparation for longer studies.
