Description
In this course, our young artists will create their own imaginative landscapes by designing compositions from reference images that they will then learn how to paint onto canvases using acrylic paint. Our young artists will learn how to create dynamic compositions that incorporate proportion, perspective, and color theory to bring their landscapes to life. In the development of their unique landscapes, our young artists will learn how to tell a story with their artwork that brings out their artistic voice. Taleah is a talented fine artist in the Washington DC area who specializes in painting, fiber art weaving, and digital art. Taleah has been an art teacher since 2017 and is currently teaching art through Fairfax County Public Schools. Taleah has been tap dancing for 25 years and enjoys doing that in her free time, as well as spending time with family and friends.
