Painting the Portrait - Jill Banks

Learn to paint portraits with Jill Banks! Sundays, 1-5pm March 9 - April 6 5 sessions. Join Jill this winter for portrait painting. This course covers the basic elements of portraiture: composition, mood, gesture, form, structure and features of a clothed model. Instruction in painting will cover features and how to achieve beautiful skin tones. Model fees are extra, paid directly to the instructor the first day of class. You are welcome to draw in charcoal. Jill will give a demo for the first part of day one of class. You’ll be drawing/painting for the second half of that class!
